At UKSD, our directors recognise their lawful and moral obligation to provide a safe working environment for our installers. Responsibility is also placed on our working supervisors and installers to promote safe working attitudes. We actively encourage all our team members to take ownership of their own safety, that of the colleagues around them and members of the general public.

At UKSD, we are supported by Health & Safety consultants in ensuring we have safe systems of work in place (Method Statements and Risk Assessments) and safely plan all our operations. We also place a heavy emphasis on investing in our people in safety training. We want our team members to have access to the best possible training to eliminate harm and ensure they are able to carry out their work in an efficient manner.

Our installers are experienced, trained and hold the following safety certifications to ensure the safest possible working ethos:

• Mobile Elevated Working Platform licenses - IPAF (International Powered Access Federation)

• CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS

• Construction Skills Certification Scheme Cards (CSCS) accreditation

• Cartridge Tool Trained

• Abrasive Wheels Trained

• Fire Safety Trained

• Harness Trained

• Working at Height Trained
